As a licensed physical therapist and certified strength and conditioning specialist, Cory has dedicated his career to understanding the biomechanics, manual therapy, rehabilitation and restorative exercises as they relate to golf. Cory is a graduate from Bradley University's Physical Therapy program and has been a consultant for many golf schools and has appeared on The Golf Channel as a golf fitness expert. He has worked closely with top 100 PGA teaching professionals including Pat Goss, Todd Sones, Jim Suttie, Rick Smith, and Jim Flick. Cory currently has clientele playing on the PGA, Champions, Web.com, LPGA and Futures tours. Cory has served as a consultant/strength and conditioning specialist for Northwestern University Men's and Women's golf teams for 9 years, from 2008-2017 and has been a consultant to other top NCAA Division I golf programs. Cory has been certified as a golf fitness instructor - Medical level 3 Junior Level 3, Fitness Professional level 2 and Golf Biomechanist level 2 through the Titleist Performance Institute. Cory is also a certified FMS/SFMA practitioner and KVEST certified level 2. He served as co-certification director for K-Motion incorporated, the company behind K-Vest. Cory is also Neurac level 2 certified using Redcord. Cory lectures to fitness and golf professionals worldwide on the benefits of 3D motion analysis and biofeedback. Cory's understanding of the body, 3D biomechanics and golf-specific functional training makes him one of the game's top performance specialist.
John Allemand, M.S.P.T., TPI Golf Fitness Certified Med Level 3
John graduated from Southern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science in 1991. He completed a weight room internship at the United States Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado. While there, he was responsible for designing strength and conditioning programs for athletes competing in the 1992 Summer Olympic Games in Barcelona, Spain. He received his certification as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) in 1992. John was employed with Lutheran General Hospital and Advocate Fitness as an Exercise Specialist. From 1992 to 1996, he was Manager of Corporate Fitness for Northern Trust Bank as well as serving as a strength and conditioning coach for the Northwestern University Wildcat Football program in 1996. Receiving his Masters of Physical Therapy from Midwestern University in 1999 he has been involved with orthopedic outpatient physical therapy and sports medicine ever since. He continues to be involved in designing and implementing various strength and conditioning programs for athletes at all levels. John received his Level 3 Titleist Performance Institute Medical Professional Certification and has helped co-design the strength and conditioning program for the Northwestern University Men and Women’s Golf Teams with Cory Puyear.
